About these terms
These terms apply when you use fleetforceservices.co.uk, create an account, request a quotation or book workshop services with FleetForce Services Ltd. Our company number is 16283376 and our workshop is at Unit B4, Ford Airfield Industrial Estate, Ford, West Sussex, BN18 0HY.
Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be limited, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If you book mainly for business purposes, consumer rights may not apply in the same way.
Accounts and acceptable use
- You must provide accurate information and keep your sign-in details secure.
- You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless you tell us promptly that it has been compromised.
- You must not misuse the website, interfere with security, attempt unauthorised access, submit unlawful content or use automated tools that disrupt the service.
- We may suspend an account where reasonably necessary to protect customers, staff, the website or our legal obligations.
Bookings
Online bookings are processed through TechMan. A booking is accepted when the booking service displays confirmation or we confirm it directly. Please check the vehicle, service, date, time and contact details before confirming.
Appointment times are planned start or attendance times. Unforeseen diagnostic findings, parts availability, earlier work or events outside our reasonable control may affect completion. We will keep you informed where a material delay occurs.
Prices, estimates and payment
Prices shown online apply to the service described and will state whether VAT is included. A diagnostic or inspection price does not include unrelated repairs, replacement parts or additional work unless expressly stated.
An estimate is our reasonable assessment based on the information available. We will seek your approval before carrying out material additional work or exceeding an agreed estimate. Payment is due when stated on the invoice and normally before the vehicle is released.
Cancellations and changes
If you need to cancel or change an appointment, contact us as soon as possible on 01243 210035 or at info@fleetforceservices.com. We will explain any charge before it is applied. Any cancellation charge must reflect costs we have reasonably incurred, such as specially ordered non-returnable parts or reserved external services.
We may need to change or cancel an appointment because of staff availability, equipment failure, parts supply, safety concerns or circumstances outside our reasonable control. If this happens, we will offer a reasonable alternative or refund an amount paid for work not supplied.
Vehicle condition and authority
- You confirm that you own the vehicle or have authority to approve work on it.
- Please remove valuables and tell us about security systems, known faults, modifications or safety issues that may affect the work.
- You authorise reasonable road testing and movement of the vehicle where needed for diagnosis, repair, quality control or MOT testing.
- We will not carry out additional chargeable work without approval, except where limited action is reasonably necessary to make the vehicle safe or prevent immediate damage and we cannot contact you. We will explain any such action promptly.
Parts, warranties and MOTs
Parts and workmanship are covered by any warranty stated on the invoice or provided by the manufacturer. Warranty cover does not apply to fair wear, misuse, accident damage, unauthorised alteration or a separate fault. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
An MOT reflects the condition of the tested items at the time of the test. It is not a guarantee of future condition or a substitute for maintenance. Retests are subject to DVSA rules and any eligibility conditions explained when you book.
Collection, storage and uncollected vehicles
We will tell you when the vehicle is ready. Please collect it within the agreed period. If a vehicle remains uncollected after reasonable notice, we may charge a reasonable storage fee that reflects our actual costs. We will not dispose of a vehicle without following the process required by law.
Our responsibility
We are responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our failure to use reasonable care and skill or by breach of these terms. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, for pre-existing defects we did not cause, or for business losses suffered by a consumer.
We do not exclude responsibility for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, breach of your statutory rights, or any other liability that the law does not allow us to exclude.
Website availability and third parties
We aim to keep the website accurate and available, but temporary interruptions may occur. TechMan, Firebase, DVLA and communication providers operate parts of the service. We remain responsible for our own obligations, while third-party services may also have terms that apply to their platform.
Website content is general information and does not replace inspection or professional diagnosis of a particular vehicle.
Complaints, law and contact
Please contact us first if you are unhappy with a service so we can investigate and put matters right. Write to FleetForce Services Ltd at the workshop address, email info@fleetforceservices.com or call 01243 210035.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you may bring proceedings in the courts that apply to your home within the United Kingdom where consumer law permits.
